Position: Managing Director 

Gross Salary 1300 – 2000 EUR depending on experience with the opportunity to grow

About Us

TechHub Riga is the central space for startups in Latvia to work, exchange ideas, learn and accelerate faster. As a non-profit foundation we help to bring together the main ecosystem players in the region and to build relationships between teams and ecosystems. Besides offering the only co-working space focused specifically on startups, we organise events for the community and to inform the larger audiences about the newest trends in technology and innovation.

We have recently moved to our new home in the former faculty of biology of the University of Latvia. Our vision is to turn this whole building into the center for startups and innovation in Riga. We are starting with one small part of the building and already around us we have attracted startup neighbors such as Edurio.

Managing Director

You will work towards building the community of tech entrepreneurs and creating a centre where all the key players will meet. You will represent a vital part of the startup ecosystem and will aim help it develop by exchanging information between organisations. Together with the team at TechHub Riga you will work towards expanding the member base and the startup community in the region. You will learn about the startup scene in Latvia and get to meet various industry leaders, helping build connections between them and the startups residing at TechHub Riga.

On a day-to-day level, you will manage the existing co-working space while pushing forward the plan to expand it to the entire building. This will involve working with the TechHub Riga board, with technical experts, the university, and other stakeholders to further the possibility of realizing our vision to build one central hub for startups and innovation in Riga.

You are:

• experienced with project management and running a team
• experienced with MS Excel and have good problem solving skills
• organised and don’t find multi tasking intimidating
• good written and spoken English

As a managing director you will:

• be responsible for the management and growth of TechHub Riga co-working space and the local and broader community
• plan the future strategy of the organisation and prioritise it’s goals
• deal with finance, operations & planning
